I say THANK you for that post. I bawled as I read your story of your healing birth with Peyton. We're praying for that with our second baby (and no, there IS no second baby yet. lol)
I say YEAH for home birth! They bring all the same equipment they have at the birth center & you don't have to put the baby in a car seat & travel home! We're PRAYING that we'll be able to have a successful home birth this next time around. (whenever that is)
Thanks for sharing this Meredith! I loved reading about your experiences. My daughter's birth was very similar to your first experience. We are trying to get pregnant again and I definitely want a VBAC and have considered a birth center but hubby is pretty much dead set against it right now. I need to ask God to change his heart if he so desires. :)
I am a twenty something mom who loves my job! I have the most wonderful husband, and we both share in the joy of raising our four beautiful children - ellie kate, peyton, stone, and parker. We are in full time student ministry and consider hundreds of teenagers to be additions to our family. We have seen our ups and downs in life, but God has proven faithful through them all. Come and join me for this crazy ride, as I raise three children to change this world for Christ. Loving life, one minute at a time.
Ben is my #1. He is my best friend and my daughter's biggest hero. He loves Jesus, loves his family - and for that, he deserves the #1 husband award.
Ellie Kate
Ellie Kate is our independant, full of life, excellent leader to her multiple siblings. God could have not chosen a better first born than Ellie Kate. She loves her daddy, loves to sing, and loves to give hugs - her daddy and I take as many of those as we can get!
Peyton
Peyton is our spunky second born. From the moment we met her, Ben and I were convinced she was hiding something from us. She is very inquisitive and keeps us on our toes. She loves to eat, loves to suck her fingers, and mostly - she loves her big sissy.
Stone
Stone is our precious third born and long-awaited son. He is a champion eater, a world class wrestler, and our family's biggest goofball. You are daddy's best buddy, mama's little man, and your sister's pain in the toosh.
Parker
Parker is the fourth born child, second born son, and the sweetest little munchkin alive. You are a champion cuddler, a pacifier lover, and admirer of your many siblings. You had better hold on tight little boy, this family has got a lot of love to give.
