When Ellie Kate had an ear infection, and my doctor recommended liquid steroids (WHAT!!! for an earn infection!), I couldn't help but think of david, his trip to the dentist, and why I avoid medicating my children...Enjoy!

Ok, this is a stupid question, but when you say "liquid steroid" is that different than an antibiotic? Just wondering.
I've seen that video several times...so funny!
Did you do the steroids? I'd be more afraid of steroids than antibiotics or I just wouldn't treat the EI at all (which we've done before).
Its so scary...I never know what to give them and what not to. But I do know (from Dr. Mercolas How to raise a healthy child in spite of your doctor) that ear infections are best left to heal by themself. When they are given antibiotics they have a higher chance of reoccuring. Addie had ear infections all the time and I always took her to the doctor. The first time I just let her heal on her own it was so hard I just gave her tylenol, but she hasn't had one since! Its a great book if you haven't read it!
Haha....one of the other kindergarten teachers sent this to me saying "Since we are doing dental health this week, should we show this video to the kids!!"
